These aren't that heavy. And it's more for when I'm walking around the yard after lots of rain or in taller grass with heavy dew. They were great. I'm going to try some of the DWR applications.
I may try some of the "Nikwax Fabric and Leather Proof Waterproofing" since my shoes are half and half.
