Fast forward to yesterday, I asked how the E-bike was working out. He told me it was stolen two days ago by a homeless guy. I asked him was it locked. No, the lock wasn't really working right and he didn't think anyone would take it while he was at the gym.
Now he gets to work all summer to pay for another one if he wants it, no more freebies from his mom for him.

Reminds me of my first Schwinn Stingray. We lived on an acre with the house on the back third. I left it in the front yard one night and somebody stole it. I had a paper route and earned the money and bought a new 69 Stingray for about $60. I learned my lesson and still have it.
