Problem is, when you're verified - they no longer have to be subject to chargebacks that are possible on credit cards - no longer are they held by the rules that Visa / MC have. They're immune to giving back your money in the event of a wrongful charge.
Worse yet, if for some reason someone files a claim against you and demands funds returned they have access to your account - and there is no way to retrieve them if you disagree.
