The SQ5 (sorry for the prev brievety, thought it was common knowledge) is a Q5 with beautiful seats and the S4 engine (3.0 T) which is a fantastic engine (ex S4 owner). I'd buy literally anything over a Q5, so many of them, look like melted butter, dated, most have the 2.0T from VW - yawn - dime a dozen... I may consider an SQ5 over a Macan S, it's that nice a motor. But Macan S used is probably a great answer too.
On a base Q5 budget I'd get an Alfa Stelvio SUV instead, at least it's different and all in all probably not less reliable! Reliable and pretty ? go Mazda CX- anything..
