I have done it twice.
The Jeep has an Alpine unit that I bought from Crutchfield for about $400. It doesn’t do much but it works well.
I also have one of those cheaper, Android based radios which does everything you can imagine and more but the controls aren’t as car like as in the Alpine. A miss hit of one of the small icons and your in a menu somewhere.
