Gee I wish we could get the humidity a little higher. I might be able to grow gills. It was 98% this morning, and everything was covered in dew. That meant wait for the grass to dry a bit. Finally just after noon, I went into mow mode. The humidity was "only" 71% and dropped to 68% when I was done. It is only 78 degrees now but the humidity is nucking futz.
The grass was way way overdue for mowing, but it has been just too wet. I picked up three bags of grass. A lot of it went into the compost, but it is now full, so some goes to the landfill.
The yard looks a ton better, and the after mowing beer was really perfect. Look out and see pretty green and even lawn. With the week of rain everything is GREEN.
On the trip to Enid and back we saw a lot of farmer-ranchers with a 1/4 section or more of grass, and cattle out just eating until they are stuffed. It has to be cattle heaven. All the food you can possible eat, no predators, and nothing to do but eat their fill and hang out with other cattle. There were endless miles of green grass and wheat just starting to begin to turn amber with grain.
