Just illustrating that performance is far from being my only criterion (if it was I wouldn't have a 911, I could find something with "better performance" for cheaper). I actually sometimes feel that this view makes me less of an enthusiast, because most of the people I know who are very knowledgeable about cars and driving (some of whom get paid to race) don't care whether their car is made in Germany, Japan, or Timbuktu for that matter. I’ve owned well over 35 autos in my life and have had to opportunity to drive a lot more, I personally don’t care where the car actually comes from nor do I really care how many people agree with me. . .
