For my upcoming 60th Birthday present to myself I'm thinking of buying a 2 post lift.
For those with 1st hand experience, regarding the "cross-over", what are the advantages of it running along the floor between the two posts, or a Bump Stop cross-over at the top of the lift posts? Seem like the overhead bumper might limit height as I want to store 2 Pcars, one on top of the other during winters.
So, floor mounted or top mounted cross-overs.???
Thinking of getting an extra wide extra tall one too for my 3/4 extended cab truck too, so 2 stage, or 3 stage arms would be needed to extend arms to narrow riding lawn mowers or my Side x Side.
I'm trying to not over think this. So let me hear your good stories and horrors of trials/tribulations....
This distributor is only an hour from my house and will drop ship for free. Install it for another $8-900 drilling all the holes in the slab and such.

My 16 foot tall Eave High Bay of my Shop on the far side has been crying out for a lift for over 2 decades!
