^^^^ Naw .... Let's Dance was released in March of '83 and I distinctly remember being in first summer session in June when I bought Texas Flood. He decided not to tour with Bowie and support his own album..... and at least outside of Texas his work with Bowie was what gave him his initial publicity ....at least in my college town. I went to the record store on the Tuesday Texas Flood was released specifically to buy it .... I wasn't disappointed
