Yeah, dig a little deeper. 1/2 the cars stolen are kia and hyundai. Is it because theyre so desirable? The thieves have bad taste? Or are they all patked on dark streets in shady parts of town? Nope.
The cars have zero software security and ignition has no interlock. The ‘key’ is not a key, a plastic spokn works. They dont have adequate security, period. No crime school degree needed which is why theyre stolen.
Reasonable person expects key is needed to drive car, orherwise why provide it? Unfit for purpose which is why hyundai settled.
