A little different as I own the shop.

I could show the pics of our shop with all our snap on products. Screw Compressor, media blast cabinet, solvent wash tank, jet wash, 7 2 post lifts, AC machine, Diag scanners, Trans jacks, floor jacks, multiple tool cabinets and countless hand tools and other diag tools... Always felt we got fair value for everything we bought. 100's of thousands of dollars. But warranty is great and service is epic. We need these tools to create revenue, we can't screw around...

For a DIY guy or a tech in a shop, maybe price shop a wee bit more. But I can say that some non snap on branded tools are less expensive on our service truck than in the flyers for local tool sellers....

Its business, build a relationship, treat your dealer with respect and get taken care of....

Cheers
Yea, its just that like most guys on this board, we are tool junkies. Snap on is the place to go get a fix. They certainly sell a total quality product, and stand behind them. No Chinesium poorly made junk, I can go to Harbor Freight for that.

My comparison to drug dealers is a joke, BUT, I went in for just the one 15-17 mm flare wrench and he "just happened" to have the entire set on right there and a discount from full price. I dangled the lure, and reeled me in like a fish.
