I run Falken Azenis RT615K+ (another 200 wear rating tire) in 225/45/17 and 255/40/17 on my Ruf 8s & 9s with SC flares. They drive nicely, seem acceptable comfortable and quiet for street use, while very grippy & predictable. With big brakes and 420HP at the rollers, I don't have traction issues at either end. Like 'em just fine and will probably buy another set when they wear out.

The rear size would be in spec (8.5-10"J), but the front would be a bit stretched (7-8.5J is the spec). But that's not extreme at all.

245/45/17 & 275/40/17 would seem to be a better match for 9s & 10s in a widebody, but for an N/A car you seem a tad over-tired and should maybe be careful with profile/section etc to reduce the torque loss and rolling resistance. Especially as Rufs aren't light wheels.

IME, most extreme hi-perf summer tires don't wear out so much as age/get hard; coming up on the end of the 3rd fall season, may still have legal tread - but will push, tramline and squirm around on wet roads round 40F where they didn't the year before... So hey-ho for the wheels shod with WinterContacts, and a new set of summer rubber in the Spring.

If you don't have seasons or only ran them in warmer temps, they would probably be just fine until they wore out.
