Biggest pet peeve of mine is seeing driveways and walkways (hardscape) installed too low.

There are plenty of situations that you are stuck with whatever slope you can get, given the existing height of the garage and house slab and distance to the main road.

But, in situations where there is a lot of length to work with, such as 200', no reason the drive couldn't be elevated at least 6" above conventional height. Maybe even more....
