UPDATE:
So as I was typing that yesterday, I had been transferred to a 'supervisor'. The underling prior to the supervisor had told me that she could fix it by just opening a new account and transferring all of my stuff over. BUT THAT COULD TAKE A FEW DAYS
I then got on with the supervisor. By some miracle, he was able to transfer all of my old profile, equipment, passwords, etc, to a new account while I was on the phone with him. Then some IT guy did the same for my internet. At the time I was at my office. When I got home 20 minutes later, all of my stuff had been turned back on.
So what I don't get is how no one was able to do anything except for this supervisor. Even the person before him was going to do the same thing with a few day expectation of completion.
Clown show comes to mind.
