I have an undercoating gun and hit my cedar fences with Messmer's UV Plus. $70/ gallon on amazon - delivered. My wife was pissy about my spraying chemicals on the fence until she saw the results. Pretty amazing what it does to old sun bleached wood. Application with undercoating gun I do about 10' per minute.
Generally every few years I hose fence down until it looks wet, then it smells bad and I worry it'll never dry and about a month later its dry and the fence looks like new.
Can't say its the best or anything but its what I use and I'm very happy with the results. Alternative is let your fence rot then buy and replace boards.
