Tomorrow we're going to install a hoist to store this fiberglass camper shell in the garage attic.
Camper shell.

Garage ceiling where we will install the hoist.

Lumber that will be used as blocks to attach all the hoist hardware.

All the hangers, screws and washers that will attach the lumber to the ceiling.

All the hoist hardware. Cables to lift the shell and safety chains to hold the shell when in storage.
All this because I'd rather keep the shell than give it away.
Once the shell is removed we have a large Lance slide in camper waiting to be installed in the dually pick up.
I figure instead of giving away the shell might as well hold on to it in case the Lance camper adventure is short term.
This you tube video got me started but I wanted to make my hoist much more robust.
