I guess I must have bought the 3 pin one though more luck than judgement.
Wiring wise red went to the bottom fuse in the engine bay where my Pertronix was. Blue to an earth. Black to the white of the MSD (also where the black of the Pertronix was).
The Bluetooth needed resetting bit after that it was all good.
Current the advance is set as (73 2.4T with MFI)
