The part numbers are not the same between Caymans 987.1 (2006-2008) and 987.2 (2009-2012):
987.1 (2006-2008)
987 631 163 21 (L)
987 631 164 21 (R)
987.2 (2009-2012)
987 631 165 21 (L)
987 631 166 21 (R)
