I lived across the street from that guy in Hawaii. On weekends he basically ran a Jeep repair/upgrade shop from his garage. Holiday weekends were the worst. He would start the grinding/welding around 8am and it continued, along with the radio, until sun down for the entire 3 days.
Wouldn't have been so bad but w/o AC you must have the windows open to catch the cool ocean breeze.
I'm sure he was a nice enough guy but honestly, he gave not one concern for his neighbors and what he was putting them through.
