I don't understand this segment at all. I guess if you just want a 'truck' for the look and don't really have much need to haul anything (or tow anything more than a very small trailer). Why not get a similar size SUV? You can easily haul 8-foot long boards inside an SUV. You can securely lock whatever you're hauling inside and keep it out of sight. There's far more storage area in an SUV with the rear seat folded down.
What do you do with these short beds? What are they, 4-feet or so? My neighbor has been on a waiting list for a Maverick for nearly 2 years
