Yard guys mower threw up a rock or hickory nut and broke the glass in the back door at the cabin. We thought we would just replace the glass, but the glass, which is tempered, is glued into the plastic/vinyl window frame so the whole thing gets replaced. Mom got the window and my son and I replaced it this morning when we had a break in the severe weather that was in the area. Easy peasy. Remove the screws on the inside frame, and the outside frame separates, use a utility knife to score the edge where the frame makes contact with the door, then remove the outer frame with the rest of the glass. Clean up the area and remove what is left of the window frame sealant and reinstall new frame and blind kit.
