I remember as a kid, my grandfather and I both had gray plastic thermos brand lunchboxes that included a thermos inside clipped into the lid. I seem to remember that the glass inserts were fairly thin and broke pretty easily, at least for a kid.

I remember reading a story that at a factory [emoji2371], at the end of a worker’s career and they decided to retire, they suspended the lunchbox from the ceiling. A tradition that was still being done. At least at the time of the article. It was a neat picture to see all of the boxes spanning generations hanging.
If I recall correctly, it was a tall ceiling like an industrial building. Not sure if it was on the forum or elsewhere, but I am sure someone here way smarter than me knows something about it
