Samcox, where are you located? I've got a ducktail (steel frame, fiberglass lid) and a couple of sets of seats you might like. and so much more.
It looks like something bigger than the ash tray was there, it looks like "they" modified the dash panels/knee pad to fit the center console.

Hey Blucille - I'm on the east coast outside NYC.
There is a V1 on the roof between the sun visors, then the display you see. I feel like "they" modified that kneepad as well, but I was also thinking that maybe they used a later year part? I don't know anything after 1973..yet.
