I use a ratchet strap to cinch down my extension ladder when going that high. I use 2 of them. One at the base and another a little further up. Really makes a difference being about to tighten it down with the ratchet.
I know my limitations though and try to respect them no matter what.

Some Alexander Palm seeds I just sprouted. I use the baggie method. Put 'em in baggies with dampened sphagnum moss and wait to see sprout formation. Sometimes it takes a month or more....
