Yeah, I guess it wouldn't have had time to accumulate the metal particles. The way I see it is at 63,000 it's not likely to fail before the car will need a clutch. Then do it for sure as a preemptive.
If my wife was driving it I wouldn't worry myself. I could actually put my Durametric on it and show cam deviation numbers. But I would be amenable to sharing the cost of a PPI if the car comes up for sale.
I appreciate your comments. Helps me know what to expect. Shame it isn't being driven.
