It's hard to believe neg discharges were such a problem for trained Soldiers. Dudes blowing out the back of clearing barrels.
It always made me nervous standing behind some kid with a 9mm pistol in a shoulder holster that pointed the barrel directly at the guy behind in the chow line. If I pointed my boom stick directly at you there would be a problem but for some reason the horizontal shoulder holster was not seen as an issue for muzzle discipline. That's some good logic.
