For those who want to run chrome flag mirrors, but have holes in their door that the chrome flag base won’t cover, there’s another option as well. There is a chrome flag for old bmw’s (1600’s, 2002’s, e21’s) that looks virtually identical to the Porsche flag, but the base is significantly longer and has wider spaced holes. Worked great on my ‘74.
