I would recommend Fusion360 for beginner friendly CAD programs. The hobby license is free at it has a lot of available functionality once you are ready to go deeper. I found out a long time ago I really quickly ran into the limits of TinkerCAD when trying to edit parts I already made without breaking other parts of the model. Then again that was probably 8 years ago so they've probably made some changes since then.
