Lots of info available on this in the forums. I'm personally a huge fan of the M&K active premuffler (
https://mkexhaust.com/active-exhaust-with-pre-muffler/) -- it's vacuum activated, meaning that when you hit the throttle the bypass valve opens and creates a very nice engine note (and frees up a lot of back pressure) -- conversely, while cruising the bypass closes up and behaves as normal. Coupled with my stock muffler (still doing fine at 190k), this gives me the sound I was looking for during acceleration/spirited driving w/o the constant noise/drone that seems inherent in most sporting mufflers. If you're considering a dual outlet muffler, be sure to read up on the drone that many users report from these setups.
As for "tune," look into Steve Wong and Sal Carceller -- (search google for either of their names and "Porsche"), both (imo) do great things to get the most out of our 3.2l engines.
