Bad sutures suck.
Many years ago (I was 12-13) I cut my knee while running in the woods. My parents took me to the hospital at the military base where my dad worked. They sewed my knee up. Everything seemed fine. When they took the sutures out, there was no blood, but the wound gaped open. Apparently, the intern that sewed me up pulled them too tight causing one side to roll under. They stuck one or two little butterfly strips on it and that was that.
