Whenever we, the family travel outside the US I check the destinations laws on the specific meds we may need to bring.
Generally if you have a prescription you are OK if you have a 30 day or less supply and the meds are in their original container.
Sometimes you need documentation as well.
99% of the time you can travel without even thinking about it but the prep is worth it for the 1% where some overzealous border agent is having a bad day.
