Well thats the reason I'm frustrated. They are no longer Confirmed or Permanent codes.
They should not be triggering the CEL.
Codes that can't be cleared with a OBD scan tool trigger the CEL for a period of time, X #miles or X heat cycles then clear themselves if they don't get detected again during the X period.
The CEL is clearly on in the dash but my scan tool says it's off.
But if it were off the codes should not be flagged as Permanent, I think?
Anyone know?
