This is a long shot, but proved true in my case. STR started getting CEL with several random codes, cam sensors, HVAC issues, evap system leak.
Started trying to rule things out like you are. A logical approach.
Got very frustrated as things kept popping back up.
In the end it was a battery that was old and getting weak. It apparently couldn’t process all the data at the various control modules.
New battery and all good. 👍

Batteries cause so many gremlins in these cars.
I always double lock the car to shut everything down to avoid the inherent parasitic draw.
Had not driven the car in 2 weeks or so and was getting the “turn vehicle on or entertainment display will shut down from weak Battery”
I’ve never seen that one before and car has never given any indication that the battery is heading south but that doesn’t mean it isn’t.
TX is harsh on batteries, i get 3 years out of them.
