Let's get back to the codes. Done a hard reset or reboot, whatever you want to call it?
I've been told by an automotive electronics expert that once the system is discharged completely it's a good idea to insert a 9v battery for a moment before connecting the battery cables. I think he has a DC variable power supply to bring the computer back gently.
