A guy's house was about 4-5 acres and shared a property line with his favorite bar. He'd drive over, drink a while, then drive home. Got a few DUIs as a result. He was a paving contractor, so decided to build a private road he could drive on to get back and forth to the bar. One night, he wrecked his truck and it caught fire. Responders took a long time to arrive, as the road was unnamed and thus 'unlisted.' For his own safety, the county told him to fill out the paperwork and give the road a formal name. He could not come up with a name and asked the Fire Department for help. Thus was born the legend of "Burnt Truck Road."
