Update on my chainsucked damaged carbon fiber diverge:
This certainly looked like chainsuck, but had just enough going on to make me wonder if I'd started a stress fracture.
Anyhow- Look what came in the mail today!
I got a screaming deal on some carbon fiber. And the owner swears by it.
Second- This got me sanding the frame. I don't think there's any deep cracks/damage. (good news) I will sand some more paint/ filler off the periphery and will get to carbon fibering for bonding. it is interesting to see the different directions/ and filler used on a CF frame. I will overbuild this area, as it will eventually have more chain encounters.
