I went to my regular internist doctor for my yearly physical. He said the stitches were a little overdue to be removed, and they were a very fine suture thread. They all came out easily, and they cleaned the area to remove dead skin.
He will set me up with a referral to a cardiologist and I get to add another doctor to my contacts list. And he reminded me it was just a few months out from getting another colonoscopy. Oh goodie.
And he saw I see an Ophthalmologist yearly for an eyeball check.
One sure sign of geezer-hood is a long list of doctors in your contacts. Only a few are just friends and not treating me.
