I have a 2019 sprinter that is showing a some kind of charging error wherein the car tells me to "stop vehicle, leave engine running"

This is the error message that you would get with a low battery or a failing charging issue yes- but the battery shows a proper 12.4 at rest and nice high 14s with the engine running, etc.

There is a12v UPS-style battery under the seat that apparently often goes badly I've replaced that with no change.

At this point I'm not finding anything on the interwebs that's helping much.

If you call a Merc dealer with a custom sprinter they will basically hang up immediately.

Does anyone have a Portland- area Mechanic who could put this on a scanner for me and get s more detailed code? Maybe clear the codes for fun.
