26 inch canti- to- 700c v-brake- boss replositioning- to -disc brake reassignement surgery complete(ish'ed). My trash can bike now identifies as a disc brake bike. Will fill in some gaps and sand out, but overall- success. Big grins on first time out. The brazing is ugly. (fugly- really) I and brazing with a smalll welding tip, not enough heat to evenly heat the area and just let the brazing flow. Also, I did not want to overheat the drive side leather chainstay protector- but even with heat shielding, that was a concern. That said- today was about caliper mount alignment, and not loosening the left rear dropout. Success! Crappy brazing I can grind off and add too. Caliper alignment was perfectissimo!!!!

I think I might just leave this in clear coat as the brown burn marks accent the rustoleum frame color
(which I "thought" as a homage to porsche 911 sand beige, but perhaps maybe light ivory, or ivory...either way- a 911 frame color reference).
