Generally true. IME older people seem to waste a whole lot more time than they can afford to. My mother for instance spend most of the time laying on her couch watching TV. I encourage her to do more but she seems to like telling me off for doing so.
Honestly I'd rather die at a younger age than rot on a couch for decades.
