Well, more medical issues but hopefully I am able to move on this project and get it up and running. I tried starting it and the battery is completely dead as in really dead. No charging... So, fortunately, I already had the Rennline battery relocation kit sitting on the bench and waiting for me to install it. I guess now is the time. I took the positive cable and ran it along behind the fuel tank and into the smugglers box using the preexisting hole that was used for the connector that attached to whatever was in there. It was taped off so obviously not being used but the hole meant I didn't have to do any drilling. And the cable is long enough. I did some minor surface rust mitigation. I had to order parts and wire to feed back out the same hole for the fuse block and relays. Here is where I am at right now.
