I have recently purchased a 2012 128I. This is my first BMW car since I have given up BMW motorcycles due to my age and health issues. I never really had to buy many parts for the old Air Head motorcycles but since buying the BMW car I have replaced the shocks and struts plus the water pump and thermostat. I have purchased these parts from two different online sellers. Not Pelican Parts. In both instances the parts were defective. I bought the parts in the middle category price range in both instances. So my question is should one always buy the most expensive parts offered? Who cares if they offer a money back guarantee after you have gone to all the trouble of installing them. It would seem to increase the cost of owning a car like this considerably. Thanks
