I had the distinct pleasure of accidentally meeting “look171” on Thursday in Las Vegas.

I was hanging out in a booth of a company that I work with at the AWFS (Association of Woodworking and Finishing Suppliers) show at the Las Vegas Convention Center. I happened to be wearing a Campagnolo t-shirt and he came up to me and commented on my shaved legs and how I must be a cyclist- honestly it was not weird... got to talking and because I’m obsessed with waxed chains, I brought that up and he put two and two together and asked if I had a Porsche and bingo we made a Pelican connection.

Unfortunately I was leaving for the airport in a couple of hours, so we weren’t able to hang out.

Great guy and it was a pleasure to meet him.
