This more making than fixing...though I fix crap on a daily basis...
Last fall my girlfriend mentions she loved sitting on a porch swing with her daughter....
And mentioned her swing was in pretty shabby condition... so wheels start turning.... wood starts burning...
I made her a new swing based on a crib mattress... Its a pretty simple construct..
And some painful background...My girlfriend lost her daughter due to a tragic accident.. So I tried to tastefully embellish the swing with features that might bring a smile....
What 6 year old girl doesn't like butterflies...
My gf is from Ukraine... the national flower is the sunflower...
And oddly having never seen Star Wars... her daughter was obsessed with grogru, or baby yoda..
