Congrats! It sounds like you got a good one! When I was looking, I looked at boxsters and cayman, 986 and 987. They are all great to drive. My personal pref is for a manual, and even the missus can/would drive a manual. I'm sure the tip trans is great (for an automatic) but it's still an automatic (not like a DPK). I ended up with an '08 S so a 3.4. It's nice to have the extra oomph. I assume the 3.2 is probably similar to the 3.4 in that you can almost drive it like a V8. Run in through the gears and then put around in whatever top gear is for your speed without having to shift. Not that I do that much. But on the most roads, if I decide to pass, I don't normally
have to downshift if I'm not in the mood.
