First thing I'm doing is trying to figure out how to make the cuts to maximize use of the wood, and keep, include, the unique feature of the slab.. like the crack is a must, there is a nice small burly knot, and in the crotch there is some unique grain patterns..
Also imagining how the piece will work together when cut is a fun exercise.
After I get the pieces cut Ill make a mold...
