I chose the Rennshift over the WEVO, though I can't remember why. I'm happy with it.
There are several bushings outside the shifting mechanism that have a huge effect on shifter feel:
1) The cup on the end of the shifter. Replace with stock and shifting will improve dramatically if it has failed.
2) The ring bushing that keeps the rod in place. Replace this with
jpnovak's bushing and you'll have less lateral play than stock.
3) The bushings in the coupler by the rear seats. Jim Tidwell makes a set of
rubber bushings that reduce the fore/aft play of the stock rubber bushings (though I think it might introduce some wiggling in the shifter). Others have used brass here, or a solid coupler in various forms. I like Jim's...
