My FIL was getting tires a couple of years ago and asked me what to get or if a certain tire was good. He said, "it is a 75,000 mile tire".

My response to him was along the lines of: a. how many years will it take you to drive 75,000 miles? and b. would you still want to drive on that tire after 10 years or more.

He got the point.
