A 1977 ROW number 1265. It has 95,000 miles. A 4 speed - yes you read that right. The top is original vinyl and in very good to excellent shape. I have another fiberglass hard top on her now. She has been wrapped but I kept her the same Gran Prix White. There were a few blemishes that were fixed and instead of giving her a $10K paint job I wrapped her for under $2K.
It has the original 5 blade fan. She never got hotter than 100C so I never saw the need to put in an 11 blade.
Things done to her in the past 500 miles:
- 2nd gear Syncro replaced
- Replaced all shocks and mounts
- Front and rear brake pads and rotors replaced
- Replaced front wheel bearings
- Wheels original Fuchs, power coated though
- brand new Michelins
- Axle seals replaced
- New plugs, wires, and distributor cap
- Resealed crush washers on oil sending unit adaptor
- Cross-over pipe and multiple cracks on exhaust welded
- New shift coupler and bushing
- Replaced Sway bar and bushings
- Intake and exhaust valves adjusted
- Installed Carrera chain tensioners with oil lines
- New driver’s side window motor and new window switches installed
- New steering wheel bushing
- Pop-off valve Installed
- Engine oil and Transmission oil changed often
The only non-OEM on her is the are the seats (a horse ate one, previous owner replaced them), and the radio/CD by Alpine which works 95% of the time until you really want it to then you have to jam a folded up business card in the front panel.
Why do I want to sell her? I never drive her and it’s a shame to keep her tucked away.
Not sure what to ask for her. Lets talk…
