tires are Pirelli P7's, no front vent windows since it is a '69 tub. Strategy might be to wear my SPF shirt that is very lightweight and keep misting water on it, use the cooling towels I got from the Miami F1 marshal job.
Alternatively drive the dreaded 10 through LA to say Santa Barbara, potentially gets cooler as you drive out of Banning/Beaumont. Hate the 10 though. This route will be hot for say 6 hours. My favored all be hot most of the way.
